Welcome to The Polymod Framework Blog!
Hi! I’m Mustafa, I’m the creator of The Polymod Framework.
Believe it or not, this framework has been in development for more than 5 years now. Over the years, the framework has expanded into its own methodology and ecosystem.
I’ll leave the complicated parts elsewhere for now. But if you haven’t done it already, I highly recommend going through the homepage. It should have a good overview, so I always recommend starting from there. It’s a great point to look out and get a glimpse of what this is all about.
When I first started in 2021, the framework was just about writing, ideating and keeping logs in digital format. It did not have any proper structure and the value it was promising could not be extracted as easily as it could be done these days.
The one thing that has not changed in all these years is the fact that I write my logs everyday and I try to maintain them meticulously.
As a result, data had grown substantially over the years. So I developed the PolyOS to manage the data I generate using The Polymod Framework.
In the last two years both the Polymod Framework and the PolyOS has matured. They have grown quite large in volume and in complication.
My goal is to offer you a powerful system, that aids you everyday, as a single source of truth, and use it using the tools you already know and love.
My work with The Polymod Framework and The PolyOS has emerged out of my own neccessities. I don’t think my work is original or groundbreaking. It owes its quality to countless of talented people who have come before us and have made meaningful contribution to the society. The valuable ideas they shared with us, the world, are my sources of inspiration. In that spirit, I say my work is neither original nor groundbreaking, but it could be very useful if you can use it properly.
I will try to introduce PolyOS in details in another post In Sha Allah. For now, understand that what I’m building at this moment is a recipe, a blueprint, a set of principles and an overall philosophy that is very useful if you are interested in the ‘write to think’ activity. To aid you in your thinking and sensemaking, is why The Polymod Framework and The PolyOS exist.
Again, in no way, I think my work ia a competition to the existing Personal Knowledge Management Software giants. Rather, my work strives to connect them, simplify them so that you can get the best out of the tools of your preferences.
My goal is to bring you proven productivity techniques and tools that are adaptible to changing technological circumstances. And that is not an easy feat. Personally, I believe in pracising before preaching. So the progress might seem a bit slow. That is because I want to test my ideas first, validate if it is worth adopting. Only then, I officially teach them.
If you have read the description, you’ll see that I am currently focusing on SEYEs. SEYE stands for Solo, Early-Stage and Young Entrepreneurs. These are people, coming from the younger generation, or a tired job-holder who wishes to be financially independent and well off. They have ideas, and they want to be successful.
As a solo entrepreneur myself, I think I have some minimal understanding of how quickly the smiles and the aspirations are marred with crisis after crisis.
But at the end of the day, it’s a journey. Success takes more than hardwork. And again it is entirely another topic of its own.
Both The Polymod Framework and the PolyOS are complementary. The PolyOS gives you the tool, but without being aware of the Framework, I worry that users might not extract the minimal value out of it.
For now, think of these two as a philosophy and a software.
The Polymod Framework is meant to help you integrate your thinking, acting, learning and growing into a coherent story which you can consult at any time to think. And by thinking, I mean going really deep into a subject matter.
As for the software, it is really a highly opinionated tool for digital memory and decision support system.
There are so many things I want to share with you. But for now, let us pause. We are just getting started with this blog. In sha Allah, I wish to bring you insights, knowledge and tools from my own journey.
So stay with me, because I want to do the same for you.
